Printed by ABNC. Red specimen overprint and serial numbers with two punch cancellations. Arms at center flanked by vignettes of allegorical women. The woman at left is holding a gear and represents industry, while the woman at left is holding a sickle, with a ship in the background representing agriculture & commerce. The reverse displays a coin-like vignette at bottom center, with a woman at left seated next to a globe and is holding the Staff of Hermes. The woman at right is seen with a floral motif. Both sides of the note feature light-blue undertint. Seen with excess selvage at top, with the bank name typed and a printer's annotation of "May 1896" in the top right corner.
