A detailed design of Pedro Alvares Cabral returning to Lisbon stands out on the obverse of the note, with the reverse of the note displaying intricate lathe work. "Republica" overprint in black on the top on the reverse. Scarce, and this example is found in a Very Fine grade with a minor internal tear noticed, a pinhole and edge wear along with minor toning.
