RUSSIA--U.S.S.R. Lot of (7) Treasury & Gosudarstvenniy Bank SSSR. 1, 3, 5, 10, 25, 50 & 100, 1947. P-217, 218, 220, 226, 228, 230 & 231. About Uncirculated to Uncirculated. Includes Booklet.
A grouping of seven 1947 series notes, which includes the denominations 1 to 100 Rubles. A mix of the 7 & 8 band varieties of the State Emblem of the Soviet Union are found in the mix. Interestingly, a green booklet which contained the notes is included in the lot. The booklet contains notes from 1947, and appears to have been issued in 1961, either as a collectors series booklet or as a presentation piece. We would not be surprised if our high estimate is met & exceeded for this lot.
