TUNISIA. Banque de L'Alegerie. 100 Francs, 1908-11. P-4. PMG Very Fine 25.
Overprint on Algeria P-74. Found with a later date of 1911. PMG's pop report states this note is the sole example to be encapsulated by their grading service for the pick number, with this note found in a still attractive Very Fine grade. Black "TUNISIE" overprint is seen at left. The main design is in a dull blue ink and consists of allegorical men on the front of the note with a woman's head at bottom, and the reverse of the note displays an allegorical man and women at left and right, with facing and snarling griffins at bottom of center. PMG comments "Pinholes, Rust." PMG Pop 1/None Finer.
