Pr-2463. Struck in the name and types of Alexander III (the Great) of Macedon. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and scepter; in left field, Pegasos springing left; Δ (date) below throne. Struck on a typically broad flan, this pleasingly toned example features a fairly well centered strike. For completeness, a light 'X' in grafitto is in front of the head of Herakles.
