Obverse: Laureate head of Janus; curved truncation; Reverse: Jupiter, hurling thunderbolt and holding scepter, in galloping quadriga right driven by Victory; incuse ROMA in raised tablet below. A lightly toned example, this popular type does exhibit some roughness and possible repair at one portion of the edge. Nevertheless, the central design elements remain free from issue.
