FRANCE. Philotechnical Association of Saint-Denis Silver Award Medal, 1925. ALMOST UNCIRCULATED Details, Damage.
49.9mm; 59.38 gms. By L. Bottee. Engraved and presented to Mme Branellec, professor. Obverse: REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE, laureate and armored bust of Marianne left, wearing Phrygian cap; below, trumpeting herald flying left; Reverse: ASSOCIATION PHILOTECHNIQUE / SAINT-DENIS, crowned and garnished civic coat-of-arms between oak and laurel branches; scroll above engraved "MME BRANELLEC PROFESSEUR," oval plaque below engraved "1914-1925." Edge: ARGENT [one hallmark]. Featuring a bit of a dusty obverse, the reverse remains somewhat more vibrant and bright. The details designation emanates from some scattered marks near or on the edge, as well as a flaw in the reverse field.
