The large size version of this medal, with conjoined busts of the three Prussian Kaisers involved in the project within a heavy laurel wreath; Reverse: View of a merchant vessel passing out of the canal and into the sea with the rising sun ahead. An attractive Medal with prooflike fields, frosty devices, and light almond toning throughout.
