GREAT BRITAIN. Bronzed 1/2 Penny Pattern Restrike, 1805. Soho (Birmingham) Mint. George III. PCGS PROOF-64 Gold Shield.
P-1309. The bronzing process has given the surfaces a matte look. The reverse is particularly nice although the obverse has a spot of uneven toning on the king's toga. The holder shows the date in quotes as although the coin is dated 1805, it was almost certainly made later.
