Canada Bank of Canada $25 6.5.1935 Pick 48 BC-11 Commemorative Issue PMG Extremely Fine 40. Only 160,000 of these special notes were printed, in both languages, with less than 2 percent outstanding as of 2013. Simply beautiful designs on both sides endear this note to collectors worldwide. Although this note celebrated the 25th anniversary of the accession of King George V and Queen Mary to their thrones, its circulation was cut short by the King's passing in early 1936, which ushered in the new series of banknotes in 1937.
