Canada Toronto, ON- Canadian Bank of Commerce $5 10.8.1934 (2.1.1935) Pick S970p Ch.# 75-18-02P Front and Back Proof About Uncirculated (2). Two uniface "tinted" Proofs are offered in this lot, each of which is matted to a larger sheet for practical purposes. The printer notations at right suggest that these prototypes pre-date the actual issued note, which was released in 1935 or soon thereafter. The notes themselves are inked in olive and black hues atop white paper.
