Banknotes from "Guyane", as it is known in its native tongue are rare, as local banknotes ceased after 1961. French Antilles notes followed, then the French Franc, and now the Euro. This beautiful 500 Francs is from the final series of banknotes issued specifically for French Guiana. It is quite rare in pack fresh Uncirculated grade.
