India Government of India, Madras 100 Rupees 16.2.1925 Pick A17y Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 2A.5.2E.3 PMG Choice Very Fine 35. While Madras city-of-origin examples are occasionally seen for Reserve Bank of India banknotes, older Government of India types are an entirely different story. At the time of cataloging, only six examples issued through Madras, across all dates from 1919 to 1925, are graded in the PMG Population Report. Additionally, there are no public auction results for this variety. Minor repairs and a few spindle holes are seen on this otherwise exemplary note. Mild circulation and good colors are easily seen. Of the six notes graded by PMG, this example is the single finest. Do not miss this opportunity to acquire a seriously rare uniface 100 Rupees, in top grade, issued through Madras. https://currency.ha.com/itm/world-currency/india-government-of-india-madras-100-rupees-1621925-pick-a17y-jhunjhunwalla-razack-2a52e3-pmg-choice-very-fine-35/p/4028-40039.s?type=CoinArchivesCurrency4028 HID08706262019 © 2020 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
