Portugal Banco de Portugal 500 Escudos ND (1928-29) Pick 141p Front and Back Trial Proofs PCGS Currency Very Choice New 64PPQ (2). In uniface, Color Trial format, this pair of Proofs is quite rare. Each side is mounted to cardstock for rigidity. All formats of the 500 Escudos from 1928 and 1929 are rare. This is the first Proof set that we have offered. It is worth mentioning that Portuguese types of known rarity are seeing increased bidding activity, as the collecting field realizes how rare some of these types actually are.
