Spain Banco de Espana 25 Pesetas 1.1.1875 Pick 6 PMG Extremely Fine 40. As the throne traded hands in the 19th century, emissions from the Bank of Spain were updated. The notes of 1875 are regarded as the "Bourbon Restoration Issues", part of an emission that followed the restoration of Alfonso XII to the throne. These notes are typical of the exceptional work by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Company at the time. The details are bold and uninterrupted. The bright paper and lack of easily visible folds gives this note the eye appeal of much nicer pieces. It may be the nicest piece on the market in a generation, easily besting a piece graded Fine that sold in 2016 for more than $10,000. Previously from the Hdez & Dguez Family Collection. https://currency.ha.com/itm/world-currency/spain-banco-de-espana-25-pesetas-111875-pick-6-pmg-extremely-fine-40/p/4028-31013.s?type=CoinArchivesCurrency4028 HID08706262019 © 2020 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
