Spain Banco de Espana 100 Pesetas 15.8.1938 Pick 91 PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. Two different 100 Peseta notes were produced for issuance in Barcelona, after the government was pushed out of Madrid by the advancing Nationalist army. Ultimately, Barcelona was taken and none of these notes were ever issued. Today, the unissued survivors are exceedingly scarce and highly sought after. This example is the finest we have offered, besting the 58 EPQ we sold for $6,000 in late 2017.
