Col. Robert Ashworth Godolphin Cosby (1837-1920). Stradbally Hall, co Laois, has been the ancestral home of the Cosby family since the 16th century. The current building was erected in 1772 and later modified by R.G. Cosby, who inherited the estate from his uncle in 1837
