Original attributed to Pier Maria Serbaldi da Pescia, circa AD 1505-06. • IVLIVS • II • LIGVR • P • M •, tonsured bust to right, wearing embroidered cope with standing figures in panels and morse with facing heads of Saints Peter and Paul; all in circular linear border within pelleted border / St. Paul, struck by lightening, falling from startled horse charging to left, dropping his spear and shield charged with ƧPQR; two figures, one carrying shield charged with Papal umbraculum and crossed keys, hasten to left before horse, female figure with head reverted recumbent to right below horse; CONTRA • STIMVLVM NE • CALCITRES in exergue.
