Leopold I Taler 1678-IAN MS62 NGC, Graz mint, KM1272, Dav-3232. Utterly captivating, and nearly the ideal type coin, the features on this taler quite easily appear as though they could have been struck yesterday. Only just off-center and showing hardly any camber to the flan, the surfaces are charged with a charming apricot tone. For the sake of accuracy, we note some extremely fine scratches before the bust, which are largely unobtrusive without the aid of magnification.
