Kingdom of Napoleon. Napoleon I 5 Lire 1812-M MS65 NGC, Milan mint, KM10.4. This Napoleonic issue is only very rarely encountered in such fine quality. Lustrous and shimmering across the entirety of the surfaces, with the eye appeal amplified by contrasting touches of light graphite tone arranged in a delicate embrace of the obverse legends. A couple of larger obverse die breaks are noted crossing through the back of Napoleon's head and pointed toward his brow, these not to be mistaken for scratches or handling.
