Sardinia. Vittorio Emanuele II 5 Lire 1850 (Anchor)-P MS66+ NGC Genoa mint, KM144.2, Dav-370, Pag-370 (R), MIR-1057a (R). Simply spectacular, needless to say this coin exists at a level usually unimaginable for the type, the obverse fields revealing a profusion of opalescent highlights contouring the devices. For an issue of this size and age, the competition does not even come close, the next finest at NGC being a small cluster of MS63's, while at PCGS the closest is an MS62.
