Geneva. Canton 10 Francs 1851 MS65 NGC, KM138, Häb-4, Richter-571a. Mintage: 1,000. Perhaps one of the most charming entries in the Swiss shooting 'taler' series, and one that is often found with an indelibly Prooflike finish despite the fact that the issue is not recorded to have been struck in that format. Indeed the current specimen presents the viewer with thick satin frost over the devices, while the surfaces, especially on the reverse, are both flashy and markedly reflective. One of only two samples in this peak certification at NGC, the other bringing $5522 in our January 2016 NYINC sale.
