Helvetic Republic 4 Franken 1801-B MS66+ NGC Bern mint, KM-A10, Dav-1772, HMZ-2-1185h, Divo-5b. A stunning grade for this only two-year issue, and one which, even at first glance, doesn't seem to quite do justice to the coin's superior eye appeal--a watery sheen of golden luster moving effortlessly across the surfaces and producing an unmistakably Prooflike finish; indeed, it could easily have been awarded a 'star'. Currently the single finest of only 24 pieces certified between NGC and PCGS combined, the next closest that we have offered is an MS65, which achieved $5875 in our April 2015 CICF sale 3040 (lot 30658).
