Confederation "Neuchatel Shooting Festival" 5 Francs 1863 MS66 NGC, KM-XS7, Richter-944a. Mintage: 6,000. Thoroughly impressive quality for this somewhat scarcer shooting type, appearing quite nearly immaculate over both sides with a distinctive watery luster over the fields. Presently tied for the finest certified at NGC out of 91 seen to-date, we note that the last example we offered in this grade brought $3,995 in our April 2016 sale.
