Republic gold "Kremnica Mines" 10 Dukaten 1934 MS65 NGC, Kremnitz mint, KM-XM21, Fr-13. A very rare commemorative struck to celebrate the reopening of the Kremnica mines. A mere 68 examples of this type were produced in total, leaving the issue well outside the scope of most collectors, and gem examples such as this even less attainable. Displaying serene and glowing aurous surfaces, fully struck detail, and an absolute minimum of handling, this piece's gem grade designation appears more than justified, with hardly any friction or surface marks visible to the naked eye. A piece that is likely to serve in a position of high importance in its future owner's cabinet, and the finest certified example that we have yet encountered.
