Alexander III Proof Rouble 1891-AГ PR63 Cameo PCGS, St. Petersburg mint, KM-Y46, Bit-74, Sev-4005. A head-turning example displaying heavily frosted devices with fully mirror-like fields, these features combining to yield an unmistakable and highly engaging cameo effect. Extremely rare in Proof, and only the second such example we have seen. The issue was missing in this Proof format from both the Hesselgesser and Goodman Collections, pointing to the difficulty of locating any representative, much more so one with such superb visual appeal.
