Vittorio Emanuele III gold 50 Lire 1912-R MS62 NGC, Rome mint, KM49, Fr-27. Mintage: 11,000. A luminescent gold issue graced with a fluid luster that cascades over the surfaces upon inspection. The only attainable date for the type, its fairly limited mintage of 11,000 still vastly exceeding the subsequent mintages of 40 and 30 examples for 1926 and 1927, respectively.
