Barcelona. Joseph Napoleon gold 20 Pesetas 1812 AU55 NGC, Barcelona mint, KM76. The sole gold type produced in Napoleonic Spain, and one that is equally contested and difficult when compared with the more plentiful 5 Pesetas of Joseph Napoleon's reign. Exhibiting exceptionally bold details with subtle patina, a superior example of this scarce type. At present only 2 Mint State pieces have been certified by the grading services, the issue quite often experiencing much heavier circulation than seen here.
