Caracas. Royalist and/or Republican Real (Macuquina) 721 VF30 NGC, Caracas mint, KM-C12, cf. Stohr-9A-C12 (this date unlisted), OAV-1R-C.A.4. A quite rare imitation cob type that draws its inspiration from the earlier cobs of Lima, and one which is universally regarded as fleeting in all levels of preservation. Almost no examples survive above VF grades, with this particular piece seeming to possess nearly XF-quality detail.
