ABBASID: al-Mu 'tamid, 870-892, AR dirham (2.57g), al-Muwaffaqiya, AH269, A-240.5, citing the heir al-Muwaffaq, decent strike with very little weakness, VF, RRR. Al-Muwaffaqiya was a military camp site set up in southern Iraq for the 'Abbasid campaign against the Zanj rebellion, active 268-270, but abandoned thereafter.
