HAFSID: Abu 'Amr 'Uthman, 1435-1488, AV ½ dinar (2.02g), Tûzar, ND, A-513A, very rare mint in southern Tunisia, pierced, VF, RRR. The mint city is now Tozeur, and appeared also on Peus Auction 414, Lot 400, with the same unusual legends as this piece and a half dinar of Tunis (our Auction 37, Lot 360), which seems to confirm that the mint on this piece must be Tûzar.
