Rx: Sulla, togate, seated l. on low platform.; on l., Bocchus, king of Mauretania, kneeling r. and offering olive branch to Sulla; on r., Jugurtha, king of Numidia, also kneeling, with long beard and hands tied behind back; on r. FELIX downwards. "The reverse clearly portrays the surrender of Jugurtha to Sulla by Bocchus, as depicted on tablets set up by Bocchus on the Capitol and as engraved on Sulla's signet ring" (Crawford, p. 450).
