James II (1685-1688), Halfcrown, 1688 QVARTO, second laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. no stop after HIB, crowned shields cruciform, six strings to harp, angles plain, edge lettered downwards, 15.01g, 6h (Spink 3409; ESC 759 [502]), some contact marks, otherwise toned, a handsome coin unusually uniformly struck up, almost extremely fine, rare, especially in this condition
