Edward VII (1901-1910), Halfcrown, 1905, bare head right, rev. crowned shield in Garter, edge milled, 14.09g, 11h (Spink 3980; ESC 3571 (750) [R2]; Pywell-Phillips 867), lightly cleaned on obverse otherwise highly lustrous, the portrait remarkably bold for this famously 'soft' series before considering its well-known key date status, almost extremely fine, very rare thus, in NGC 'Francis' holder, graded AU Details ~ Cleaned (Cert. #5878643-011)
