World Medals, France, Napoleonic period, a group of octagonal silver gambling tokens (10), Napoleonic period, c.1800-1815, by Raymond Gayrard and de Puyamaurin, janiform heads of Good Luck (wreathed) and Bad Luck (with snakes in hair), HEUR ET MALHEUR, revs. differing allegorical scenes, 30.5mm., all early 20th century restrikes, poinçon corne, all with slightly matt surface, two have tiny piercings at four of the angles, all extremely fine with light grey tone (10)
