Romano-British Imitation of Claudius II Æ Radiate. Uncertain mint following Rome, after AD 268. IMP C CLAVDIVS AVG, radiate head to right / VIRTVS AVG, Mars standing facing, head to left, holding branch and spear, with shield resting against leg. Cf. RIC V.1 109; cf. MER-RIC temp. 201-204; cf. C. 313. 1.95g, 17mm, 5h.
