SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos VI Dionysos. 144-142 BC. AR Drachm (20mm, 4.05 g, 1h). Antioch on the Orontes mint. Dated SE 169 (144/3 BC). Radiate and diademed head right / Apollo, testing arrow and resting hand on bow, seated left on omphalos; monogram between legs (engraved over previous monogram), ΘΞP (date) and ΣT[A] in exergue. SC 2002.1a (rev. engraved over 2002.1g); HGC 9, 1036a; DCA 182. A few light scratches and slightly off center on obverse, minor die break on reverse. Good VF. Rare without flan crack.
The re-engraved reverse die used for this coin shows that issue SC 2002.1g preceded SC 2002.1a.
