TUDOR. Henry VIII. 1509-1547. AR Groat (25mm, 1.87 g, 7h). Contemporary imitation of a third coinage issue from the Canterbury mint. Crowned first bust facing slightly right / Coat-of-arms over long cross fourchée. Cf. North 1847; cf. SCBC 2373 (for official issue). Edge and surface cracks. Fine. A charmingly crude portait.
