TUDOR. Elizabeth I. 1558-1603. AR Halfgroat (13mm, 1.04 g, 6h). Milled coinage. Tower (London) mint; im: star. Struck 1560-1561. Crowned bust left, with decorated dress, wearing ruff / Coat-of-arms over long cross fourchée. North 2037; SCBC 2606. Toned, a few light scratches. VF. An attractive example of the smallest circulating denomination of Elizabeth's milled coinage.
