Justinian I (527-565). AE Decanummium. Rome mint, circa 547-549. Obv. Helmeted and cuirassed facing bust, holding globus cruciger and shield. Rev. Large I; star to left and right; all within wreath. D.O. 331; MIB 228; Sear 308. AE. 6.38 g. 18.00 mm. In excellent condition for issue, sharply struck on a heavy flan. Lovely green brown patina. VF/Good VF.
