ΑΥΤ ΝΕΡ ΤΡΑΙΑΝΟϹ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ϹΕΒ ΓΕΡΜ ΔΑΚΙΚΟϹ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Trajan to right, seen from behind. Rev. ΖΕΥϹ ΕΠΙΚΑΡΠΙΟϹ ΖΗΛΕΙΤΩΝ ΕΤΟΥϹ - Ν Zeus Epikarpios seated left, holding grain ears and poppies in her right hand and scepter in his left. Dalaison 3. RPC III 2935.4 (this coin, but uncleaned). Very rare. Very fine.
This is the only numismatic evidence of Zeus Epikarpios, but his worship is attested in several regions of Asia Minor by a small number of dedicatory inscriptions (see H. Şahin: Eine neue Weihinschrift für Zeus Epikarpios aus dem mittleren rauhen Kilikien, in: Epigraphica Anatolica 40 (2007), pp. 35-40).
