ISLANDS OFF IONIA, Chios. Pseudo-autonomous issue. 1.5 Assaria (Bronze, 22 mm, 4.52 g, 12 h), mid 3rd century AD. X-I-Ω-N Sphinx seated right, placing left forepaw on amphora. Rev. ΑϹϹΑΡΙΟΝ ΗΜΥ/ϹΥ Two crossed thyrsoi; above, star and bunch of grapes. Mavrogordato 136β. RPC VIII online ID 20130. Rare. Somewhat rough, otherwise, very fine.
