MAXIMINVS NOB CAES Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Maximinvs II to left, holding spear over his right shoulder and shield decorated with Victory crowning two horsemen riding to left, four soldiers below them; on cuirass, gorgoneion; crest of the helmet ending in griffin. Rev. SOL INVICTO / AN[T] Sol, radiate, standing front in spread quadriga, head to left, raising his right hand and holding globus in his left. RIC 145b. Very rare. Patina stripped, otherwise, about very fine.
