CENTRAL GAUL. Bituriges Cubi. Circa 80-50 BC. Stater (Electrum, 19 mm, 6.69 g, 9 h), Abucatos. Celticized male head to left with thick and prominent curls. Rev. ABVCATOS Celticized horse galloping left; on its back, eagle standing facing with wings spread; below, three pellets-in-annulets. DT 3457. LT 4173. SLM -. A lovely and unusually well centered example. Minor old scratches, otherwise, very fine.
