CRUSADERS. Venetians in the Levant. Ducat (Gold, 21 mm, 3.36 g, 6 h), imitating Venice. Uncertain mint, struck in the name of Andrea Dandolo, circa 1344-1382. St. Mark standing right, presenting banner to Doge kneeling left. Rev. Christ the Redeemer standing facing within mandorla with nine stars. CNG E-Auction 461 (2020), 536. Slightly clipped and with minor scrapes, otherwise, very fine.
