ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. Al-Mu'tazz, AH 252-255 / AD 866-869. Dirham (Silver, 26 mm, 3.00 g, 12 h), citing the caliph al-Mu'tazz billah and the heir apparent Abd-Allah, Madinat al-Salam, AH 254 = AD 868. SICA III, 924. Struck from somewhat worn dies and slightly wavy, otherwise, very fine.
