WESTERN ASIA MINOR, Uncertain. Circa 400-350 BC. Obol (Silver, 7 mm, 0.67 g, 7 h). Laureate head of Apollo to left. Rev. 𐤆-P Kantharos. Roma E-Auction 17 (2015), 224 (same dies), otherwise unpublished. Very fine.
Exactly where this coin was produced is unclear as the reverse legend, if complete, does not fit any known ethnic. One would expect the obverse to show Dionysos, but the laurel wreath suggests Apollo instead.
