This issue commemorates the heroic deeds of M. Servilius Pulex Geminus, the younger son of Gaius Servilius Geminus who was praetor about 220 BC, and grandson of Publius Servilius Geminus who was consul in 252.

Serviliusa Pulexa Geminusa, młodszego syna Gajusza Serwiliusza Geminusa, który był pretorem ok. 220 roku pne i wnukiem Publiusza Serwiliusza Geminusa, który był konsulem w 252 roku pne. Servilius Pulex był zręcznym pojedynkowiczem, podobno odniósł rany w dwudziestu trzech pojedynczych walkach i we wszystkich zwyciężył. W 167 roku pne, podczas debaty, czy dać Triumf Lucjuszowi Aemiliuszowi Paullusowi, Serwiliusz, wówczas starzec, zwrócił się do ludu i poparł Paullusa, pokazując liczne blizny zdobyte w bitwach, aby zaimponować tłumowi.
