Bermuda 1.8.1941 P-13 PMG Very Fine 30 EPQ 5 Pounds
King George VI issue from Bermuda, dating back to World War II. While dated 1941 these were entered into circulation to replace an earlier brown note with the same date. While the brown note is one of the great rarities of Bermuda, the orange version introduced in 1943 is not exactly common either, especially not in original condition. This was the highest denomination in circulation at the time and few could afford to put one of these away, making survival a true miracle.
