Hauser-3399. By Schwerdtner. Unawarded. Obverse: Frontal view of the Klosterneuburg Monastery; Reverse: Decorative cartouche left blank for engraving; all within wreath. Quite elegantly toned, this seldom encountered Gem presents some subtle hints of cobalt and sea foam green near the central fields of the obverse, along with a burnished sienna nature near the peripheries. Similarly, the reverse employs a melange of burgundy and orange to enliven its appeal.
